Results May Vary…

Posted [19 January 2007, Monday] I was right, the Top 12 was bombarded with endless reminding of their duties and responsibilities. But then, inamin ko kay Fay na hindi ko nararamdaman yung pressure. Her answer? “Yun siguro yung sinasabi ng mga teachers natin last year na, manhid na tayo!” I think she’s right. Manhid na nga kami, napukpok na habang 1st year pa! “I’m sure, yung first year naman ngayon ang nakakaranas ng pressure!” I replied. Good Luck na lang sa kanila!

To take my mind off of things, I have the CEM results to keep me busy. CEM tests stands for Central Education Measurement. These tests are like achievement tests which measures the knowledge you have gained during the year of your study. I Rank #2 in our English Test, #10 in Math and i-have-no-idea in our Bio. Sa tatlong subjects lang tine-take ang CEM Tests.

But then again, I don’t really think that CEM Tests are that accurate. Firstly because, it is validated by a machine. Little things such as over-shading the letter would get no point. Second, is because sa Biology and Math, madalas nanghula lang kami. Kasi naman, one and a half hour wouldn’t be enough to analyze and solve 60-plus equations. And as for Bio, hindi pa namin na-discuss yun. Ang English madali lang kasi, it’s mostly grammar. And believe me, taken from grammaticists like me, Clarise and Ma’am Noche, grammar doesn’t need memorization. Literature ang mas mahirap - it often requires memorization. Alam niyo naman kami ni Ize, we hate objective types of tests, yet we love Subjective – yung puro application.

Anyways, I’m really glad for those people who made it to the Top 11 of the CEM tests [lalo na kay Jet Barrera na Top 4 sa Math! Woohooo! – can you believe it?]. Congratulations to all of us – it’s a form of appreciation sa teachers na mayroon tayong natutunan mula sa kanila!

[CEM Tests had not affected our school grades – it is only a form of test that measures one’s knowledge gained from the entire school year.]

To the GUY who included my name on his Friendster account’s name! How dare you take advantage of me! Hindi mo ba alam na dahil sa ginawa mo, hindi lang masisira ang reputasyon ko sa iba, masisira din ang Friendship natin. May your conscience serve you good you EVIL, EVIL, EVIL man. Kanina nung malaman ko yun, I want to slap you in the face – kung hindi ka nga lang absent, eh! Marami akong nalaman na mga kuwento kanina sa school [about how you are taking advantage of me and the times we are together]! Dahil diyan basted na basted ka na! I don’t care if this sounds harsh [Para kay clarise: wala akong pake kahit na sermonan mo pa ako tungkol dito!], but I really think you deserve this, you CREEP!
